Camping In WIlliamsburg?

I'm going Camping this year in Williamsburg in August, It's down to 2 Resorts.

KOA Williamsburg or chickahominy riverfront park, I think KOA is closer to everything like Busch Gardens, etc

Koa is Expensive, chickahominy riverfront park Is cheaper but is it clean? Im not to concerned about activities, I am concerned about clean restrooms, etc. Also Does KOA have security? chickahominy riverfront park probably dont so thats a concern I guess.

I went to williamsburg as a kid a long time ago and I remember something like how guns are made, blacksmith is this in colonial williamsburg? Also the Ghost Walk I heard there is two

No idea about your campground questions, but KOAs all tend to have security. Are you tent camping or RV? Williamsburg is going to be HOT in August. I wouldn't want to be in a tent.

That all sounds like Williamsburg. Lots of sort of character actors as townspeople also who dress up and speak like people from the 18th and early 19th century. They have ghost tours, yes, but it's not part of the park service activities like the other stuff is.
