Cycle to Albufera national park

We like taking leisurely cycling day trips on holiday. Albufera national park looks like a reasonable distance from Valencia although, after the initial cycle track and small road along side the rice fields, there doesn't appear to be a dedicated 'cycle friendly' route from Valencia to Albufera. Is it worth us making the trip on bikes or should we just take the bus. Is there a walk all the way round the national park?

I recall that road - loads of cyclists but they all go along the road itself(around 2008 we were that way). All totally flat obviously but a bit hairy at times I should think. However it's a one-road system until you cut off to El Palmar in the middle of the lagoon where you take the boat trips from. Lovely place and lots of nice restaurants in tiny El Palmar. Boat trip well worth it too.
I'd be more worried about the Valencia end if I were you - what a city that is for traffic! Probably easier to just hop on the bus straight down to El Palmar.

If you cycle through the Turia park and than turn direction EL SALER at the Arts Sciences you will never be on the same road as cars as it is 100 % cycling paths and a great trip into nature.
