December wedding in Ubud. OK Weather??

Hi all,
I'm considering a wedding in Ubud this December, around Christmas. I've been to Ubud in the dry season, but I understand that December is the wet season. I know that some places the wet season is miserable, while in other locations it rains for 30 minutes a day and the rest is sunshine. Can anyone relay any experiences they've had in Ubud in December?

Due to extreme climatic changes the World is experiencing at the moment, trying to predict the weather can be difficult because of local, on the day variations.
Most places now are seeing weather conditions well outside the norm.

I was in Ubud for a week early dec in 2007, it rained most afternoons for a couple of hours, still warm but rain was very heavy.

I've been living in Ubud for over 12 years now and weather is a bit of a hobby of mine. In December, which is early on in the rainy season, one can expect a good 30 minutes of rain most every mid afternoon. Of course it can rain anytime, but mid afternoons is generally the case here in Ubud during this time.

A good drenching down pour is a nice way to freshen things up, and after there is always a clean fresh smell in the air.
