As before, you can find train times and details in English on
and times, details and fares in French on
Toulon>Aix-en-Provence takes from around 2 hours by train, so I'm not sure that is feasible. Bus is a little quicker, at around 1.5 hours, but even so.. Bus timetables here:
Toulon>Cassis takes around half an hour by train, which is much more manageable.
Unless you are prepared to hire a car or car + driver (the drive Toulon > Aix should take around an hour www.viamichelin.com ) then I think Aix is probably going to be difficult.
Hi - take a look at Cruise Critic. Go to the www.cruisecritic.com/Boards/Ports of Call/Europe/France Ports. You'll see questions/answers regarding Toulon and can post your own questions about a recommended guide/driver to take you. Have a great cruise!
