Do I need a 3 prong adapter for the Royal Plaza Hotel in Tiberias and the Le meridien hotel in Dead Sea, Israel? I have the two prong adapter but not the 3.
I assume you are speaking about changing the shape of a plug to fit into an outlet. I do not know where you are from but do not forget that Israeli currency is 220 and if you are from the US/Canada and plug in a 110 appliance you will fry it. That being said, the third prong is a ground. Generally if your 2 prong attaches to the original plug you can use it too.
Here is a world adaptor site that you may find useful. Good luck.
I always carry an universal adaptor - studenttravel.about.com/od/t...
Picked it up cheaply in a duty free shop somewhere - sorry don't remember at exactly which airport, but I expect that most carry them.
