Hi we fly into Tel Aviv March 8th (Sunday) mid morning.
We need to travel to Tiberias.
Is there a bus or train service from the International Airport to Tiberias.
And do they service on a Sunday.

Hi! There is no direct train/bus service from the airport to Tiberias. There ae a myriad of ways you can go--with a combination of train, bus, taxi etc. ( I'll let someone who is better informed spell them out) Sunday is a workday in Israel and the transportation service is exactly the same ( if not slightly better) than it is on Monday-Thursday.

The best way to go from the airport to Tiberias:

Take the train one station to the first station in Tel Aviv (Hagana).
Go out of the station and walk about 300 meters down the street to the Central Bus station.
Take a bus to Tiberias. They leave every half hour to an hour. There is more than one line which go by different routes so take the quickest one. Bus schedules at:

Sunday is a weekday in Israel. The weekend is Fri-Sat. Public transportation halts on Fri. afternoon (around 4 p.m. during winter months) and resumes on Sat early evening (5-6).
Taxis and Sherut taxis (minivans that operate intercity routes) operate 7 days a week, most of them around the clock.
