How's the weather in the south of Thailand ? I Wanted to go to Krabi but it's seems to be raining everywhere in the whole south ??
I looked at the Bangkok weather forecast for the upcoming 2 weeks and there only was 1 day of rain to see.
But the South really is a different picture. The upcoming week has thunderstorms and thereafter it's a little better; but not dry.
Have a look at the satellite picture at: accuweather.com/en/th/nation...
In the North the fog in the mountains is a problem (flight delays).
You don't even say when you want to go ......
I'm in the north right now so one of those days. Tomorrow or the day after...
My good friends just returned from a week in Phuket (honeymoon) and had terrible storms on a daily basis. The managed to get out to the Phi Phi islands but it wasn't as enjoyable as they'd hoped.
No I have been in Thailand earlier this year, but the news of the recent flooding was not to miss.
Better check double if you really want to go, but it's just thunderstorms for the moment.
It is normal to see "chance of a shower / thunderstorm". It is usually a quick but heavy downpour. If you go to Instagram, you'll see some of the real-time photos with sunny or cloudy sky.
Too bad for them :( thanks ! I'm going to explore the north this time then.
