Some one did mention beefeater in pattaya which is good, but expensive, and I will be visiting khlong lat mayom floating market.

Visit the Foodland Supermarket on Central Pattaya Road. Check out their Took Lae Dee restaurant. (The Foodland, Took Lae Dee, restaurant in Bangkok used to cook a steak you buy from their supermarket for a small charge. Never tried it in Pattaya.)

* Not necessarily steak but often cooked roast beef on their buffet line - Lek Hotel on Sai Song. Bottomless cup of coffee and tea, cakes, bread and cookies. No charge to check out some of the many hotel buffets open to the public. Some hotels have evening buffets as well as cheap breakfast buffets. (I stick with HOT basic meat and potatoes type food and AVOID prepared salads with mayonnaise or cream! I avoid sliced meats like warm baloney and salami just laying out on trays for hours. I like my buffets and never been sick in 20 years eating from them but I am very selective on what I eat!)

Take a walk through the malls and see if some of the steak dinners in restaurants are worth your money.

➤ I personally don't eat seafood in Asia anymore! Some fish from fish farms are fed pig poop and have unsanitary processing. Google it up! (Maybe if I caught a big fish far, far out in the bay I might eat it.) Tourists usually don't swim at Pattaya Beach because the water is not clean but the fish still swim there!

Happy eating.

Most Thai Fish dishes use farm raised Tilapia Fish & Shrimp. Virtually all of Thailand utilizes Sanitary Septic Disposal Fields, which flood during the monsoon. The fish farms are inundated with effluent from the flooded out disposal fields. Sea caught Prawns are OK because they are caught in the sea. Thai raised beef is usually pretty tough; because it isn't aged in coolers properly. Aussie Beef Steaks are usually quite expensive. Western food is nearly as expensive in Thailand, as the USA.
