Hi Respected Members,
I wanna know where we can hangout in the night with beautiful girls in Phuket, Pattaya & Bangkok.
we even heard of good places on Coral Isand , Pattaya.
we really wanna enjoy at the fullest.
Please do the needful and share us the best you can.
Having been to Koh Lipe a couple of times before it was transformed I now hesitate in returning.
I'm in the area (south of langkawi) and it's still (daily) raining season, but I'm wondering about which islands to the North of Koh Lipeh may be alternatives.
Have you been to Koh Kradan and is it affordable and are the waters as clear as Koh Lipe's? Koh Muk?
I've passed by those islands on my way from Lipeh to Krabi and seen extremely small islands where I question its safety (in case of another tsunami).
Please suggest, and elaborate on some island from your personal experience.
I'm reaching with my family (2 Adults and 2 Kids) to Phuket and we had booked a hotel near Patong Beach. We'll reach Hotel at midnight therefore I consider our tour to start from next day around 11 am. On the third day we have to catch our flight from Krabi in morning. So, we have just 2 days here. Please suggest how to enjoy it with fullest in this time keeping in mind that next day night we have to stay in Krabi so to reach airport on time. The must do things include Phi-Phi island and Baan Telanka.
I am currently living in China, plan to go to TH for vacation and to acquire Kitesurfing/Diving experience/certificates.
Is it possible anywhere in Thailand? I head Phutket is really good for kitesurfing.
But I am open to all locations, do not have anything in mind as long as it is the cheapest possible.
Do you know what is the price range of such lessons?
As an European, do you think it wold be possible for me to find a short-term job in the meantime to sustain myself in such a place?
Thank you !
Can someone tell me if is there a good travel agency for daytrips to Similan Islands? We need a small boat, don't want big boats full of noise and crowded of people. We are not divers, but we want to enjoy the peace and the nature. Now we are in Khao Lak but it seems impossible to find something different from big boats with ladyboys show! Thanks.
Me and my boyfriend are travelling to Thailand on the 24th Oct ( less than two weeks). We are spending 2 days in Bangkok then travelling to Koh Samui, Koh Tao and Koh Phanghan.
We are there till the 9th Nov.
I understand it is wet season and so am expecting showers and short downpours, but know I have just read thunderstorms and everything.
Will it still be decent weather between these though and will it still be 'holiday' weather?
Appreciate honest answers so we know what we're in for :(
me and my boyfriend are traveling to Thailand in July and would like to know where is the best part of koh samui and phi phi island to stay on?
Shall I book accommodation in advance in Koh Phi Phi or can I also get cheaper deal after arriving there? Choices are expensive on booking.com and hostelworld. Need urgent suggestion. Also, which beach or place is better to book accommodation?
hi, is there any public transport/'song thaew' plying between lang suan town and pak nam lang suan?
And thunder for the next two weeks as the weather forecast predicts for Ko Lanta and Krabi! I thought Jan was over the worst! Am off tomorrow and hoping for some sun......
we were planning to spend two weeks in Krabi-Similan-Ko Phi Phi-Ko Lipe starting from April 21st.
I know this time is the end of high season; however, on many websites I read that this is the worst time to visit and it is rainy, "unbearably" hot and humid.
We don't mind if it is not always sunny, but I would like to ask if someone who has been there in that period or who lives there, it the weather is really so bad and if we should take into consideration to change our destination.
We are considering getting a package deal at the Phra Nang Inn on Ao Nang Beach, Krabi. A reduced rate for a couple of days and nights, including transportation from airport and 2 tours. We are planning this because we have never been to Thailand before (once we know a place well we do things ourselves). Is this a good decision? Have any of you had experience with package deals at hotels around Krabi?
We hope to visit either Phi Phi Don or Koh Rascha yai in mid October. We understand this is towards the end of the rainy season. How likely are we to be rained out? Also I've read boat cancellations are common, for these island how likely is this to happen?
Also we plan to do some snorkeling. I've heard the water is always warm, but in october can the weather create bad conditions in the water?
Is anybody going down south to Singapore and looking for a wicked travel buddy? Let me know. I am all about no fuss, so easy to travel with!
Does anyone know the namn of the resort/hotel on Koh Kradan the bungalows shown in the picture belong to? I thought they looked gorgeous viviting on a daytrip and took a picture, but the more I think og the island the more I want to go back and stay in one of the bungalows.
PS: Fantastisc island; more pictures
Here I am again with another boat question. I read a post on another forum that said "The ferry from Ao Nang is dangerously overloaded, does not have fire protection equipment and may not have life vests for all passengers."
Are they really this bad?
Are there any ferry companies that you can recommend that are safe or perhaps a reasonable priced speedboat option?
I will be in southern Thailand (Ao Nang, Koh Phi Phi ,Phuket)for 3 weeks in February and in order to do all the things that I am planning will have to be on boats on many occasions. Trouble is, I do not know how to swim and am afraid. I am not afraid once I am actually on the boat, what my main concern is is getting on and off some of the different vessels (ie: longtail boats, speedboats etc,) when there is no pier. I am middle-aged, not very flexible and can`t swim and I have visions of standing in deep water with waves trying to get on a boat or them making me jump off a boat to get to a beach. Can anyone help ease my fears
I will be in Thailand for 3 weeks in February and will be staying in Ao Nang, Phi Phi Isalnd and Patong Beach. Would like to see beautiful Phang Nga Bay....should I arrange this out of Phuket or Krabi?
Also, any recommendations on the best way to do this (speed boat, sailboat etc.) would be appreciated.
Terrified of big lizzards and gehkos (and very big insects, for that matter). After reading different hotel reviews, I couldnt find one place to stay where people hadn't pointed out that lizzards or gehkos had got in their rooms. I do respect all animals and I wish them no harm. But really, I will not sleep a minute if I know there's a lizzard on the wall. Could any of you recommend a hotel on the island where to stay relatively safe from them? Maybe something a bit less foresty? As said, I wish them no harm, but I wouldn't want this to ruin our time on the island.
Thanks very much in advance.
What is the fastest way to travel from Koh Mook (Ko Muk) to Railay/Ton Sai? By boat all the way or bus/taxi from Trang mainland to Railay? Is it possible to do the travelling during the evening or early morning so we can use the day for other things than travelling? Saved time is more important than the cost, but of course we will not pay a fortune for the trip.
Our plane leaves frpm Krabi Ariport 7 a.m. and we would like to travel direct from Railay/Ton Sai to the airport during the night/early morning. I guess we have to be at the airport latest 05.30 a.m. We have not booked accomodation yet, så travelling from Railay East ot Railey West or Ton Sai does not matter. Any suggestions how to arrange this?
How is this beach now? Clean and beautiful with some white sands areas?
Looking for something clean with a medium pace to it. Not overly developed with massive partying.
I will be traveling to Thailand in January with my adult daughter. I am flying into Bangkok then I want to explore. I would like to do it on a budget but not staying at a hostel. would it be better to book the rooms or to wait until we get there? I have a room for Bangkok already. I think I want to go south too. I have been to phuket and the phi phi islands. Is there anywhere else that is equally as fun?
Thanks in advance
I have been invited to a wedding in Ko Samui in March of next yer and was looking for advice for what to do afterwards. I have a feeling my "couple" friends will all want to go their own ways afterwards so am looking for destinations in the area that I can see on my own. I won't want to stay in resorts by myself!
I will have from the Tuesday - Saturday to travel around. Any suggestions? I was looking at Khao Sok National Park which seems incredible, anywhere else?
Hey, I am visiting Thailand for a month in September this year.
Just wanted some advice and suggestions.
What will the weather be like?
flying to Bangkok and then to Koh Samui.. Ive not booked any more than hotels for the first few nights in Bangkok and Koh Samui. Hoping to do some Island hopping etc.
Wheres best to visit, Elephant rides, national parks, diving etc.
Is it better/cheaper to sort out hotels before going?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :) Thanks.
Anyone been to Salad Beach Resort, Koh Phanghan, recently? If yes, do reply back. I'm doing some research and trying to locate someone I met a few years ago.
I heard that there is a central minivan station which just opened on 27 April 2007 in Hatyai town. Can anyone please tell me where is this central minivan station. Is possible don't just give me the road name but the landmark to the station. Thank you very much for any information given
I there any private beach house rentals in S Thailand? I've checked VRBO and I find all listings on this site are really highly priced! I wonder if there's a smaller, perhaps more reasonable site I can find a beach house to rent in Southern Thailand?
I will be reaching Hatyai on 2nd June morning and would like to go to Trang on that morning. I understand that taking a bus will be time consuming.I heard that minivans will be faster.Where can I get minivans? Is there a minivan central station in hatyai town? How much will the price be? I have 8 friends with me.Thanks for any information available.
Can anyone tell me if the boats from Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai to Phuket ever get full and if I would then have to wait for the next boat? I will be travelling on wednesday 28th March from Koh Yao Yai and need to be at Bang Rong Pier at Phuket for 11:15 a.m. I am collecting a hire car at this time from Bang Rong so it is important I am here on time. Also nearly every online boat timetable I look at shows different departure times. Can anyone give me an up to date departure time for a boat will get me to Bang Rong for 11:00 a.m?
In few days I am flying with the family to Thailand. Please can you advise me a serious web site with actual time schedule for ferries a) from Ao Nang to Phi Phi, b) from Phi Phi to Phuket, where are actual information and where is possible to book the tickets. Because I have found many sites, but with different times of ferry departures.
Do you recommend to book the ferry tickets in advance, or is enough just to go to the port and buy them there? I have some worries about not catching the tickets due many tourists wanting to travel.
Is there some priority tickets to have better seats ?
Is it possible to fly to Phi phi or from Phi phi by sea plane ? I have found just information about Destination air, which probably finished their regular services...
Anyone can ask a
