w budget food in singapore

HI [VT member 14ecba] from mumbai would like to know about food rates in orchard road or are there any other cheaper pl ace for eating local or indian food as i m on very tight with my family, any body from india who have toured or have thourough knowledge about it pls let me the details also the extra expenses which occurs while in singapore i.e other then s/seeing

Have u heard of Little India? Plenty of food options there for indians.. anyway meals at foodcourts or hawker centres are affordable and delicious and can be found almost everywhere, even in Orchard Road. If u stick strictly to foodcourts or hawker fares u should budget around $30 pp per day. (though 2 pcs of plain roti prata will cost u only ~$2). For traveling if u stick to mrt and buses those are affordable too. Though if there are four of u taking a taxi may not be much more expensive than taking mrt or buses.
