Satun to Trang Travel

Hi Everyone,

I am visiting Langkawi in May and from there want to travel up to Bangkok. I have decided on the ferry to Satun and then want to travel to Trang to catch the train to Bangkok. Please could you tell me if it is easy to get a minibus or share taxi without booking from Satun to Trang. I will be travelling on May 13th which I believe is a public holiday weekend in Thailand and am worried they may be booked up.

Thanks for your help and happy travelling

How did the trip go, What was the easiest way to get from Satun to Trang and how much did it cost.

The trip was very easy, no need to book anything in advance although May is the low season. I think we paid about 250 baht each for a ride into town from the ferry port and then a a/c coach from from Satun to Trang. I'm sure you can get it cheaper but where the ferry drops you off you are a couple of miles out of town so less choice, we used the travel agent in the port building.

Let me know if you need any more help
