Hi all, I am planning a trip from Italy mainland (maybe Rome, maybe Naples) to Sardegna, by ferry. On the map, it looks something like 400km. Doesn't that translate to 8 hours on the boat? How long does it take, really? To all those of you who have been there, how did you get there?
Thanks for your reply!
Most people take overnight ferries, but now Meridiana flights are getty very very cheap...
"getting" (of course)
from civitavecchia it's quite fast (4 hours) from genoa, la spezia, livorno or savona the best choice is a overnight ferry.... in this case, the longer the better as you can sleep! avoid tirrenia unless you thinke that the more unconfortable the best :-)
So, it seems a flight is the best idea... Thanks, I'll look into that.
