I plan to travel to Sardinia the 2 last weeks of december this year. I don't drive; buses are ok but the freedom limited. So I thought maybe I could hire a island native and his private car for 2 or 3 days to drive me around. Good for me and it could be good also for a Sardinian willing to earn a little extra cash?
I don't know how to go about it and I wish to have already a contact before landing there. An idea anybody? Thankx
My question is more directed to the local population I guess...
Where on the island will you be travelling? If it's in the north, it's possible I could find someone to help you out. I lived there for 7 years but am now in Canada. I still have plenty of friends there, however none of them speak English. How's your Italian?
Thanx for answer.
I have the hotel booked 2 weeks in Cagliari. I'm looking for somebody who could drive me from there... I wish to go north too but it would be easier if the driver was from the the south area. Maybe you know somebody who might know somebody living closer to Cagliari?
My Italian is null. I read little and understand a few words. But I'm fluent in French, Spanish, Norvegian and I'm not too bad explaining myself with my hands :)
I would owe you if you could make some enquiries...
Hi, I'm from south Sardinia. I think I can find someone to help you. Just tell me your budget for this service.
