San Juan

Puerto Rico with toddler/Intercontinental San Juan

My husband and I booked our first trip to Puerto Rico and our 2.5 yr old daughter was going to stay with family. Something came up and now we don't have that option - has anyone traveled to Puerto Rico with a toddler to give insight if we should still go or maybe just go to Florida instead? We are booked at the Intercontinental San Juan if anyone has recent reviews of there as well. Thanks!

I went to Puerto Rico last December over Christmas. There were a lot if families there and the beaches were WONDERFUL! Warm water and low surf in places. I walked everywhere or took the city bus. I was never afraid or worried about anything. They do tend to emphasize drinking a lot, but that can be ignored. I'd opt for Puerto Rico rather than Florida!

I'm sorry; we have never been to Puerto Rico.

Click the link for reviews from past guests on Trip Advisor. Read only those reviews that go back 2 or 3 months and read reviews where the reviewer has numerous reviews to his/her credit.
