calcelled SuperFerry freight

Anybody else suffered from SuperFerry Company which damaged our vacation in Philippines by canceling the freight from Coron (Busuanga) to Puerto Princessa, which was scheduled for January 28, 2012? We are planning to declare this case in court.

How did cancelling freight damage your vacation?

And be a laughing stock?

Their website clearly states: 'Schedules are subject to change without prior notice'.

i know someone who has tickets for march. he contacted super ferry and was informed that he can refund the amount paid. maybe you should get in touch with super ferry directly.

I know that this reply is late, but I want to share it anyway.

Some time back (2006?), my family was booked Manila to Caticlan via Superferry. We were at the terminal when they told us that the trip was cancelled. We were upset because this trip was part of a long journey to Guimaras Island & return booking was in placed. After several hrs of discussion we were re-routed to fly with Cebu Pacific the next morning and was billeted in a hotel for the evening near the domestic airport. In short, our vacation was not damaged but in fact upgraded due to hotel accomodation and air travel.

After a month, I wrote to Superferry on how the scheduled trip was cancelled without warning, that we were treated badly by their port staff & that we misses the one chance of travelling to Caticlan by sea.

Superferry send me a free cabin ticket to any destination of my choice within the Philippines as a token of apology.

Which I gladly accepted!
