Villa Demidoff website has new info on it in Italian:
Can someone provide a better translation than babelfish? I think it now says the park will open on April 25 instead of Easter Sunday (they emailed me in October, said it should be open on Easter Sunday but now this news?). Is there anything on that page to suggest that my mother and I can possibly apply to them to have a special visit arranged if they are not going to open on April 10? How to do it? We don't speak Italian (well, capisco poco). Thank you!
Last year I posted a question about the Villa Demidoff (outside of Florence) and got a link to a website which actually had erroneous info on it. When my sister and I drove up on a Saturday to visit the place, we were turned away and told it was closed, that is was only open on Sundays in April. Next April, we are trying again however I see that my itinerary has us hitting Florence on Easter Sunday. But, I found another (better) website but cannot read the Italian info on it. If you can read this website, does it give any indication that they would be open on Easter Sunday April 8? They don't provide an email addy I could at least email them at (not that I could see).
We are driving from Venice to Florence and we want to stop off at this lovely villa to view the gardens and 'Appennino' statue. However, I want to make sure they are open 7 days a week? Especially for, say, next week? I can't find anything online to give me visiting information...Help!
