Hi, I wonder are the prices I see on the IC site will be the same if I buy on they of travel at the office?

I'm holding an Israeli passport and on the last 2.5 months i spent my time in France. in two weeks the 90 days of my schengen visa will be expired and I'm going to have to leave France. I've been reading somewhere that holders of Israeli passport (and some other countries) have an option to enter into Poland and stay there up to 90 days after their regular Schengen visa has been expired (of course the entry to Poland should be before the expiration date of the Schengen visa)
is anyone knows if this information is true ? (I've checked in the official website of polish government but it is really not clear there)
thank you for your time
I'm arriving at Kraków airport KRK on Monday afternoon and I'm booked on Majer bus to Zakopane an hour or so after arriving. How do I get from the baggage collection to the bus?
Thanks in advance for your help!
I am flying in to Krakow from Paris, flight arrives at 14.35 25th July. Unfortunately, it's the start of World Youth Week which I didn't realise when I booked my trip to Poland and I think that will cause a lot of extra people! I want to get straight on a bus and go to Zakopane. I would like to book it ahead of time. What would be a realistic bus departure time for me to book? As in, how long would it take me to get from the airport to the bus station? I was thinking of using Majer Bus.
I will also be making the return bus journey from Zakopane to Krakow a few days later, and hope to get straight on a train to Warsaw (I'll be returning for some time in Krakow the following week.) How long should I allow between leaving Zakopane and arriving at the train station for a train to Warsaw? I also want to book the train in advance.
Thanks for any help you can offer me. I'm leaving tomorrow for a holiday in Scotland (from Australia), and I want to try to get this sorted before I leave in about 24 hours! As usual, I am leaving things til the last minute and causing myself stress!
Can someone recommend me a good hotel in Szczecin? I've only heard good opinions about Hotel Dana (the friend of mine was there a few months ago), someone, something? I can imagine that here is a lot more.
Anybody knows where in Krakow or Warsaw can I find Ink Cartridges and other computer accessories?

Is Pieniny National Park accessible by car? where can we stop by car? Is there an entrance fee to walk inside the park?
This winter we found an original way to travel to Poland: we could take our car on an international train from Amsterdam to Poland (probably Warsaw) but we can't find it on the internet anymore. So I would like to ask if somebody knows a website where we can book a trip like this. Departing from the BeNeLux to Poland.
I'm searching for information about Dynow, Poland. Are there any members who live close to it? Perhaps someone who lives in or around Rzeszow could help with information about the area, lodging, etc. I'd appreciate your help. Thank you.
Hi, my husband and I will be hiring a car in Germany and driving through Poland. We will be in Poland for about 3 days and will be driving on the motorways. Do we need to buy a vignette in Poland? What will be the best, quickest, easiest way to purchase a Vignette? As it is a hire car we won't know the car registration number yet (to buy online) until we pick it up and probably won't have access to a printer.
First time poster here, so please be gentile if the answer to this exists elsewhere! I did some research on the forum and the internet in general but figured I'd give this a shot...
I am an American male in my late 20's and the last few years I've been tracing my ancestry that originated in Poland through records available from the Catholic Church. Through the course of this research I developed a desire to travel to Poland, and especially Gdansk (my family was from small communities south of Gdansk). I'm going to be traveling to Warsaw - Krakow - Wroclow - Gdansk - Warsaw in that order for 21 days. I have researched AIRBNB locations that appeal to me and feel confident in these places based on reviews.
My dilemma is this: I am considering renting a car for the duration of the trip and traveling to and within each location on my own. I'm a guy who likes to explore, I like to drive, and I like flexibility. I will be obtaining an IDL which I understand would be required for me to legally drive in Poland. I will be traveling solo (friends have no interest in Poland and family can't afford to go) and will mostly be there to learn, observe and explore. If I decide to utilize the trains I will at least have a car to explore areas south of Gdansk for those dates.
Is this a good option for Poland? Is highway travel easy and safe for a foreigner? Are travel delays / construction issues? Can I expect trouble as a foreign driver? Etc Etc.
It might be noteworthy that I've never left the United States before. I am looking at dates of mid September into early October
I'm looking for good smaller hotels to stay in Dresden, Bautzen and Görlitz.
I am intending to travel from Malta to Auschwitz next summer by motorbike. Does anyone know whether I can ride my motorbike up to the concentration camp car park please or do I need to get transport from my hotel by force. Secondly does anyone know of any other concentration camps in the general area that I can visit that are of interest. I have been to Dachau on more than one occasion so please do not suggest Dachau. Thanks
We are visiting Belarus now. I want to visit Poland, some towns close to border. Our transportation are public buses, trains and we have limited time and money.
So we have to choice to pass border in Brest/Terespol or Grodno. Which is faster and more easy to pass?
And which city, towns to visi in Poland? Lublin?, Bielsk Podlaski? Bialystok, Elk?, Suwalki? We have been to Biala Podlaska before. Warsaw looks to be too large city for short rip.
Do Terespol have only (bus, train) connection to Warsaw direction?
We want to do some shoping (some food, Polish sport shoes and clothes, Polish cosmetics), some sightseeing (architecture, old buildings), local food, resaurant...
Can you recomend where pass the border and which place to visit in Poland?
Hi everyone, my name is Carlos, I'm 22 years old. Next year in February I'm going to visit Poland on my own. I don't have a driving license so I can't rent a car there. I've read that the towns are linked by long distance bus companies and that you can reach most small towns in Poland by bus. I'd arrive in Wroclaw's airport, where I would be visiting some friends. From there I'd like to go to the Bialowieza National Park, and then finally return to Warsaw's airport to return home. Is traveling long distances like this by bus very expensive in Poland?
Any additional information that you think I should be aware of is very appreciated. Thanks a lot for your help!
In the next 14 October will arrive by plane to Warsaw.
I'll stay until the 8th November in Poland.
1. What are the main tourist cities?
2. It is easy to buy train tickets on time? Or have to
buy in advance for these cities?
3. Are there any holiday in this period?
4. The euro is accepted normally, or has to be in local currency?
Grateful for all the help.
I have posted previously re. visiting Nieklan Wielki, the birthplace of my mother. I have found very little on the internet regarding this village. It is approx. 21 miles north of Kielce and has a population of 880. Has any VTer ever travelled to or thru N W? I plan on travelling there by bus from Kielce and would like to stay there for a couple of days. Is there a hotel and grocery stores? Any relevant info. would be very much appreciated.

First time going to Poland and will be in Kielce and Krakow for 3 weeks. What is best strategy for exchanging to zlotys? Buy some in Canada and how much and remainder in Poland? Buy at kiosks at airport in Krakow? Buy all at once or as you need zlotys? Bring Canadian $ along and exchange as required? Thank you for replies.

My mother was born in Nieklan Duzy, a village near Kielce. The only close name that is on the map that is near Kielce is Nieklan Wielki. Can anyone please confirm that these are both the same. Was the name officially changed from Duzy to Wielki in the last 60 years or so?
I will travelling to Poland for the first time this fall to visit the place of my mother's birth. She was born in 1919 in the village of Nieklan Wielke, just outside of Kielce. Would anyone in the VT community know where I could search for my mom's birth records.
I am looking for good facilities like the one you find in Germany. Ideally with different types of sauna and haman and were "aufguss" infusion sessions are performed.
I am the first timer to Poland and going to Kielce first with a lot of newbie questions:
1) Are there any pubic facilities or other that have computers that can be used to send emails?
2) I will be travelling in October (mainly to Kielce and Krakow) and am not sure for how long I will be in each location. Is it wise to book hotels in advance in Canada or can I just walk in to a hotel and expect the same price (after of course researching hotel on Trip Advisor)?
3) Should I buy an adapter plug in Canada or do most hotels have adapters to accommodate North American plugs.
4) Will my North American SIM card in my cell work in Poland ?
4) Are there any special vaccination shots I should be receiving in Canada in advance of going to Poland?
Thank you kindly for your comments.
First time going to Poland - Krakow and Kielce. How does one get medical help if there is an emergency?
