whats the best wy to get to Marthas Vineyard from Plymouth? other than flying im open to any mode of transport.Thanx,Chris.
Ferries depart from Woods Hole, Falmouth, and Hyannis. I would avoid the island until after the President and his entourage have left, however.

there are ferries out of New Bedford. Look for schedules on-line.
I left out New Bedford in the text of my reply, but the route is mentioned in my link. Sorry for the omission.
The best way is to take the Ferry from Hyannis over to the Vineyard. It is a beautiful 2 hour ride if you take the hydro boat.
