No stranger can help you. Period. (You don't even mention the shipping company.)

That said, you know who the shipping company is and you have the Waybill (Shipping) number.

That's all you need. Contact the shipping company directly with the waybill/shipping number.

They're the only people who can help you.

Good luck.

Hi
Hold for Customs Clearance means that you will have to contact the courier company and authorise them to do the process on your behalf, you may be liable to pay Tax'es as per the Philippine Customs Tariff if the Value of the goods are in excess of allowance or if the item (s) sent are not on the list of freely imported items or if the quantity sent by your friend is considered by the customs as Commercial.

Agree with the above . Sometimes you can be lucky and avoid taxes , depending on the courier, but their are official lists of what can be brought into the country and the relevant taxes. I have carried laptops in to Philippines (only allowed to carry one tax-free ) and had no problems but i know other people who have been sent laptops through a courier and had to pay.

Take a look at what DHL has to say

I hope the value of gadgets not over 10.000 peso, otherwise you will have to pay tax for it....there is good news in Philippines, starting October any international shippings that sent to Philippines you will no longer paying taxes when deliver to you or pick-up at the courrier service.

In think your package is hold in Cebu for inspection....if you know which company holding your package you can call them, but I'm aware if you get any respond.....from where are you in Philippines, otherwise you can go to the office at Mactan airport

I am afraid the value of it is more than that..
I already received call from the courier company and they are asking me to pay 16,999 pesos.. If I fail to pay that within 3 days, they will add another 1000 per day for the charge..my package is 10.8 kg

He already knew about it.. He said he pay all there but he never know that I will have to pay for the airport tax for those items.. He can't pay for it because it was from other country.. The problem is he can't send me money to pay for that amount because he was on the offshore now and can't find any money transfer..
Yeah I know that's a lot.. Maybe because the item is worth a lot too..
