Park City

Resort Life

I am going to Park City in March. We are staying at Canyons Resort. I am just trying to understand if you can bring your own alcohol, food, etc... Or can you not buy alcohol in Utah?

Looks like there are multiple lodges/hotels within the resort: which one are you staying at? I don't know why there would be any problem bringing food unless it needs to be prepared and there are no facilities to do that at your lodging.

Yes, of course you can buy alcohol at state-owned liquor stores in Utah. The issue sometimes is being close to large enough town to have one of those stores. Otherwise, convenience stores usually carry beer.

If my info is correct, there are liquor stores in Park City:

Oh yea there will be NO problem getting plenty to drink in Park City.

While Utah has had some pretty bizarre liquor laws over the years it is now pretty easy to get most anything you want. The main difference is that the state owns the liquor stores.
