If the snow is heavy some roads may be closed. It would be best to look at the forecast before you set off.

it depends if there is snow.
many years it hasnt snowed to lower enough levels until later than December. and being the major access road across the country the snow ploughs are sent up from Taddert and Ighrem to clear the road as fast as possible.
I was based at Telouet for long periods and have been over that mountain pass Tizntichka, many times during the years ive been around and around Morocco during quite a number of the winter months - and have only seen heavy snow to low levels on the mountain pass once and that was early March : it started snowing just as i got past ighrem and the snow got deeper and deeper but because of the timing i was one of quite a number of vehicles on the road towards Marrakech, including big trucks - the snow ploughs were coming from each end - we all got through but they had the road barriers down for oncoming traffic that wanted to cross from the Marrakech side and keept it closed it after we all got through until it stopped snowing
