We are planning a day-trip in Brac, coming with our car from Split in the morning, and then exiting the island in the afternoon with the Sumartin ferry. Will we need to come to Sumartin very early in order to catch the ferry?

My friend is going to Brac next month, and having her 8 months old baby with her. She was wondering is there canned babyfood available easily at the shops? Those witch are suitable for 8 months old. Vegetables, meat and fruit conserved in glass jar. It would help her to know how much to pack with her when they leave. The glass jars are heavy anyway, if you take lots of them.
The baby eats "everything" no allergies or something at all.

I would like to know if, with exception of Zlatni Rat and Murvica, there are other nice secluded beaches on Brac. I don't mind if they are difficult to be reached...but the most important thing is crystal clear seawater and wild nature.

Me and my family are looking for that really nice village in Brac island. You know .. with the nice beach, some nice resturants, cafes and some nice old stone houses. We have two kids 3 and 6 years old, we need to keep them happy so the "disco hot spot", we can forget...
Please give us a hint on where to find that genuine, small village, with just enough people to create a nice atmosphere but not to touristy....

Checking ferry schedules the connection from Bol to Jelsa is at 5 pm. I remember when visiting Bol ( from Hvar) a few years ago, seeing a boat taxi service advertised - I think leaving Bol at 9 am, going to Jelsa.
Does anyone know if there is a boat taxi service available from Bol to Jelsa? And the cost. I would really like to avoid having to go back through Split or having to leave Bol one day early.
