New Zealand

South Island

Hi Guys

Can someone please suggest a Itinerary for New Zealand – South Island.

Fly in to Christchurch at 1am on the 11th of June and Fly out on the 18th at 6:30am.

Would like to see Mt Cook, Lake Tekapo, Fox Glacier and Milford Sounds.

Is that enough time?

If you have car that would be doable but you will need to do long distance drive. NZ have good roads but not for speeding as there are regularly control on the road. We got fine by speeding on the way to Te Anau

There are so much so see on the way you miss some beautiful places..... but if you only want to see those place you mentioned above I think is doable in 7 days

I agree with shavy in that you could see these places in your allocated time. I found the driving in NZ easyand the roads very quiet. If you have the time i would recommend the helicopter ride, which takes you over the glaciers, with a snowfield landing at the top. I did the trip with Glacier Helicopters and their office is in the main street in Fox Glacier town. Hope that you have a great time in this amazing country.
