We're stay our pre-cruise Hilton Riverfront Hotel on Friday and wonder if we can take the Riverfront Street car to the Cruise Ship Terminial next day or will it be any additional walking needed?
I've walked the area but not taken the street car. Google seems to indicate you will have a few minute walk after departing the station by the terminal.

Thank you for the information, some of our friends did advised us to walk thru the River walk market to the end of the Convention Center and it would take approx. 15 min. It should be OK as long as not a lot of luggages.
Thats about what Id estimate dependig if you stop for coffee at du Monde
there's always walking on any cruise vacation. At least two football fields.

They have answers to all cruise questions.
Have you heard of them before?
There are actually two terminals, but they're right next to one another and both are adjacent to Riverwalk Marketplace mall. The Hilton is also connected to the mall, so there's no need to take the streetcar unless you want to. It's really not much of a walk. That's about the closest hotel to the terminals. You will have to go up and down a couple of escalators, but I believe there are elevator alternatives. There are signs directing you or you can ask someone at the Hilton front desk.
Thanks for all the advice, I was concern earlier that the River walk market place and the Convention Center were blocked from each other but It may be Changed since I read from Cruise Critic a while ago that folks would not be able to walk straight thru to the Pier so I came out of an idea to ride on the River front Street Car instead.
It is an excellent idea to have a short break stop at the Café Du Monde.
The Hilton front desk has advised us to take a cab instead which would not be the smart idea for it is normal to wait 20 minutes in line to the drop off area while the cab’s meter keep running (also read from Cruise Critic) from the entrance of the Port.
