hey guys quick question .
I am travelling from Toronto Canada on Feb 24,2016 to Delhi, India and returning back to Canada March 20,2016 it is a round trip. . When I land in Delhi, I will drive to Punjab the same day I land because of a wedding.
On March 1 me and my friend will book a round trip from Delhi to pune.
So I will depart March 1 from Delhi to pune and have my return ticket back to Delhi March 20, (same day as my return ticket back to Canada)
My question is once I return from pune back to Delhi will I have to get out of airport to check into my flight back for Canada or can I just stay in the airport and check into my back to Canada flight.?..
I'm a little confused by your question...are you asking if you will have to exit the terminal and go back through security? If so, I think the answer will be yes. You'll probably have to change terminals, since you will be taking an international flight. So you'll retrieve your luggage from your Pune flight, find the terminal where your Canada flight departs, check your luggage in at the bag drop counter, and go through security again.
You will need to get out of the domestic section and enter the international one due to passport control. Though if you`re only transiting via T3, both international and domestic areas are in the same building and you dont really need to exit.
T1 is a bit further away though.
Also, if you`re flying the same airline for domestic and international both (air india/star alliance or jet airways/etihad) you can have a thru checkin when checking in at pune and your bags at least will be tagged all the way.
