Have booked a 3-day stay in late August near the Vanderbilt campus and are looking for fun activities we can do with our dog: dog parks, nice walks, hilly drives outside town, etc. Would appear a lot of the restaurants have pet-friendly patios, so any suggestions in that vein would also be welcome.
hi, S --
i just did a google search for (("pet-friendly" OR "dog-friendly") restaurant nashville tennessee) and found what look like some very useful sites at [original link].
doing the same search with "park" rather than "restaurant" brought me to [original link].
i'm not sure if you have already made lodging reservations, but using (hotel OR motel) gets you to [original link].
if you would rather stay in a dog-friendly house or apartment so that you can have more space, you can benefit virtualtourist.com (this forum website) by using this link -- [original link] -- directly from here.
or try [original link]; [original link], [original link]; or [original link]; (i did a basic search on all of these sites but added "pet-friendly" as a filter; some of them are labeled "pets considered" rather than absolutely "pet-friendly," but they are probably worth checking out.)
i hope this helps.

Thank you! We have lodging and we are staying in Arn&b in most of our 5 weeks trip with the pooch. I was trying Virtual because sometimes the locals have a 'secret' that we can not find. We are so looking to get there. Thank you, again! I understand that parking is premium downtown.
Franklin, TN is a great small town. Fantastic restaurants and a great place for a walk and a lot of history.
