I have holidays for 4 weeks from April 23rd, We have been wanting to go to Oman for ages, but we honestly need to know is end of April to early May too hot? We are from Queensland, Australia where it's 30 c and above most days at the moment and humidity high anyway.
I can't change holidays to any other time, this yr anyway!
According to this it looks slightly higher especially in May
Welcome to another Aussie

As you're used to Cairns' climate I don't think you'll find Oman too hot at that time of year. It'll probably be mid to high thirties celcius. Heat and humidity builds through May into the summer.
Thanks all, well it's booked now! The flights that is!
Have 2 questions as I will not be hiring a car!
1. What's the best company to book thru that will take you to a desert camp and pick you up, I can book the camp myself or if easier book as a mini 2 day I night tour!
2. Another, would like to do a couple of hrs cruise from muscat, why am I finding it so difficult? Not the turtle or dolphin tour just happy to cruise around for a few hrs? Know such company?
I agree with VT members, in month April it will be fine. I have noted that Gold coast heat will be normal thing for you. But if visited in months of June July and August then believe me it’s really hot in Arabian Gulf.
I have a lovely trip.
