Calling anyone interested in strke/child abuse/brain injury

will be arrviing Montevideo next week - unfortunately only for one day (boat sails). Am researcher/therapist in brain injury diagnosis and rehabilitation. Have worked for 5-7 years with a number of universities and medical schools (in US, Europe and Central Asia/Russia) on helping this very large and relatively unrecognized group. According to the CDC (Atlanta, GA USA) statistics in the US this group outnumbers HIV/AIDS, Multiple Schrosis and breast cancer COMBINED. It is felt by most of the doctors I have worked with that this is true in most countries. I was hoping to perhaps make initial contact with people in Uruguay that have an interest in sharing information about BI. However, my Internet research has come up with nothing - no specialists, hospitals or suppot groups. This must be an oversight in the search engine and I am asking any of you who might have ideas of people who might be interested in talking or emailing. I am Secretary of the Texas Brain Injury Association and Vice President Operations of a Christian International Aid Organizations specializing in helping brain injury and child abuse groups. You can use VT or email me at . Thanks and best of luck to all of you. God bless. Robert
