Since this tip was posted in 2008, we wondered if it is still operating? Also, is it hop-on/hop-off? Are tickets bought on the train or elsewhere? How much are the tickets? Are they good all day? What are the operating hours? Is there a website for this attraction? Thanks.
And here's the little train website, in English, which will answer most of your questions;
Yes the little trains are still operating and it is about six bucks USD and part of the HO HO system, they are closed Nov thru Feb.10am to 5 pm and normal operating hours. They have a open top mini bus that does the Grand Tour of Monaco for about the same price and goes thru the winter season. The best bet is The regular bus. It is easy to naviagate also and is only 1 euro to get around. Monaco is so compact that i think it is the best way to get around. You can buy a tourist pass that is good for a day for only 3 euros. it will get you to all the places and beyond in Monaco.
Have a nice time in Monaco
