Warning and dangers in Moldova

Hello, i am visiting Molova this summer and i would like to know if there are any warnings and/or dangers in Moldova. I also want to visit Tiraspol in Transdnjestria, and thus, i am wondering if visiting Tiraspol is dangerous. I heard for instance about bribes. Also, is it forbidden to take photo's of such things like the lenin statue or the tank monument? Is it true that at the border people can get difficulties to get outside Transdnjestria again?

Most of the bribery issues occur at the Ukrainian/Transniedtrian border crossing. If you're going from Chisinau to Tiraspol you shouldn't have any problems.

As for safety, is anywhere completely safe? Stuff happens in Moldova as it does anywhere else in the world. Just use basic common sense and you'll be fine.

As above, I have never been to Tiraspol but have been to Chisinau 16 times over the last 4 years. Just behave like a traveler, not a tourist and you will be fine.
