I could not find how much 100 livres is equivalent of US dollars.
Could you help me ?
1USD$ = 1500 Lebanese Lira
but i i`ll check again 4 u.
yeah, although all sites say it`s 1514 liras, but u cant get the 14 liras simply coz they do not exisit :-s
the samllest note is a 100 lira & it`s a coin.
the idea is to change for round figures of foreign currency eg 5000 or 10000 livres and pay in local currency equivalent (usd eg) ... in that way you will get the full amount in livres... regads.chia
When we went to school in Lebanon in the 70's my mom gave each one of us our daily pocket money... it was 0.25 Lira (25 piasters).
My dad earned money in Saudi Araia at the rate of:
1 Saudi Riyal = 0.25 US = 0.7 Lira
So I was earning a pocket money of about : US 0.09 (about 9 cents).
If I go back now to the seventies I'd be a rich school boy earning:
.09 x 1500 = 135 Liras daily (540 times as much money)
LOL kado,u remind me of my aunt when she came to saudi arabia from lebanon(running away from the civil war back then)she said if i can save up to 5000 lebanese lira i`ll be statisfied and go back home with a fortune!
after 20 years, she said, now i have more than i ever dreamt of and still it`s worth nothing!
lol i have to admit mira that looking at a bill sometimes then realising it's in LL not US$ is a big big relief lol
100 lira= 75 000 USD
you sure about that? lol
that 10k LL note in my wallet i keep for good luck means that i'm sitting on7.5 million!! PARTY!!
