What's it like for traveling on trains in Slovenia
I arrive in Ljubjana airport next week and I have to meet my friend at the bus station to get a bus to Kranjska Gora. Is it easy to find the bus which takes you to the bus station from the airport and how much should I expect to pay for a return to and from KG?
I have decided that for some unknown reason Ljubljana is "calling" me. If there is not enough for me to do (I will look into day trips going outside of the city), I will just wander, stop by cafes, visit shops and galleries, etc. What I would like to know now is when to go. I don't like the winter time or cold. Is August or September too hot and crowded? I can pretty much go any time it pleases me.
I am thinking of visiting Ljubljana and staying for seven nights. Is this too long of a stay? Can you give me suggestions for an itenary? I was going to go to Prague, but my daugter wants us to go there next year. I am an older female and am looking for a walkable city that I can spend some quality time in.
I plan to be one day by car in Ljubljana (small jump from Croatia).
What I should to see there or in the way from Rijeka (Croatia) to Ljubljana?
Also I want to see something in Zagreb and Rijeka in Croatia (also one day in each of the city).
I will be in Rovinj, Croatia in October and have been investigating how to get to Ljubljana from here.
'With great difficulty' seems to be the only answer so far.
The guidebook I read said that there was a train connection between Pula and Ljubljana but I can't find any details on it.
There are trains from Rijeka to Ljubljana but to get from Rovinj to Rijeka seems to take about three hours by bus.
I would be very grateful for any information or suggestions,
I am planning on driving from Split to Ljubljana at the end of August. Does anyone know anything about sixt rental car or have any recommendations? My accommodation options are Hotel Emonec with at ensuite bathroom or hostel celica with a shared? Thanks for your help.

Ali je tezko dobiti stanovanje v Ljubljani? Iscem pa tudi ljudi, ki mi malo pokazejo mesto in night-life etc. Thanks Hvala
Q: Hello, we are a bunch of 11 mates based in London looking for a weekend away from 28 to 30th August in one of the 10 new European capital cities. Ljubljana is one of them (I posted the same question in other forums) We are after some tips on - cheapest way to get there from London - average price per night of accommodation (B&B type) and where to stay - average price for food (decent meal not MCDonalds and not the Ritz) and where to eat - average price of a pint and where to socialise - weather at the back end of August - light entertainment (small things to do) many thanks
