With the large difference between the "white" population in McKinney and all of the other races that reside there, I was just curious how the citizens of McKinney treat the minorities within their community? Do the minorities have a tough time competing for QUALITY jobs in McKinney because of their race? Just curious to see how the race relations are in McKinney.
From the lack or replies about this topic, I think I have found my answer!!
what is the answer?
I've definitely seen much worse places. I work as a nurse and haven't noticed racism any more than any other place I've been a travel nurse. There is racism here just like anywhere else. As far as quality jobs, I've noticed that most of the African Americans are as techs, most of the Africans are nurses, and most of the whites are nurses. But again not anything much different than what I've experienced in other places. In fact where I was in Florida, I didn't work with but one or two people that weren't white.
