What is the best time to travel there and when should you not travel there? I want to know about the weather and average climate change. It's sunshine and rainfall. i know its a lot but if you only know a little bit but not all, every little helps.
Marbella has the best climate in Europe as a fact. That's why they call the area "costa del sol", the sunny coast. The best temperatures are in the spring and fall, with July and August a bit on the hot side.
This site will be helpful to you.
You don't mention in your pages were are you coming. If you prefer warmth (more than 25 to me:) the "weather proof" season is from end of May to end October. If you don't like crowds, avoid July-August. So, my take would be June or September. I have been there Apr, May and Jun close to Marbelle in July, and the lausiest to me was beginning of April, it was windy and temps in range 18-22C.
Just for interest. The Weather is, we say and it's always the one you get :) I checked max and min records from my coutry and the extremely interesting result is:
April: min -36,0C and max 25.5C
September: -18,7C and max 28.8C
So, what to do? Pray for weather!
I have enjoyed terrific weather there as late as October and elsewhere on the Andalucian coast as late as December. It's a matter of trying to choose your temperature. Personally I should not risk the absurd heat from May to Septemebr - but many love it!
