metal shops in London

Hi can anyone point me to some good metal music shops in London?

Do you mean 'heavy metal' music?

Camden market springs to mind immediately:

It might be worth visiting one of the pubs/bars listed below (especially the hobgoblin in Camden, perhaps) and asking the locals where they shop:

I believe there is a shop called 'Rage' in Romford, but Romford is not London (although it's an easy train ride).

Not sure exactly what you mean by metal shops,but if it is heavy metal instruments then try the music shops in Denmark street (close to Charing Cross Road)

best place to look is actually in soho, its kinda not what it was but most of the indie vinyl shops are still there.

berwick street and hanway street are the best. check out sisterray:

and reckless:

outside of this area minus zero is amazing:

indie record stores in the uk tend not to focus on a single genre of music, so these arent 'metal' stores but you will find whatever you want in them.

Yeah I was going to suggest Camden as well - seriously, just get off the tube and walk around and you'll understand why!
