We will be flying in & out of Zurich in March and will be travelling to Lausanne for work. We have 3-4 days of sightseeing and were wondering which are the places we could cover during this time.
Our 1st cut for the list included Interlaken, Jungfrau, Lucerne.
Given the winter season, would these places be feasible for 3 days sightseeing in March? Will it be too cold??
Thanks a ton, Eagerly looking forward for suggestions.
Well, you are going to best place on earth (so far I have seen) so you do not need to worry about sightseeing. Olympic Museum is nice in Lausanne, Geneva is quite close to Lausanne with interesting sites such as CERN, Bern old city is UNESCO listed, Lucerne is nature wonder, Zurich is good for shopping (but expensive), Basel nothing much to see.
See Chillon, if you are interested in such things.
