I am staying at the Deer Lodge Lake Louise next march, what would you advise to take wear at this time of year and any recommendations for places to go and see?
Due to work schedules, we can only travel in June and current weather forecasts show rains and cloudy days on most of our travel days. My question is , does it usually rain all day or does it rain in small bouts and there is possibility of some sunshine to get the beautiful colours of the lakes? Thanks in advance for your replies
What are the best things to go do at this time? I'm a photographer and would love to get good shots. Also what are the best restaurants in lake louse banff canmore. How are the roads during this time? Staying at the Fairmont would like to drive ice fields? How to dress properly weather related? Thank You
We are going to be heading to the Canadian Rockies in a few weeks and was wondering when we go to Lake Louise if you would recommend any particular restaurants with a great view/outdoor seating of the surroundings?
We arrive early hours of 16th Dec and fly out late morning on the 19th. We want to stay in the Fairmont Hotel and Banff. Best suggestions of transport and what to do while there please!
Is there any snowboarding / skiing open during the summer? Am thinking of late summer next year.
I was in banff for a week few years ago late may, at the time lake louise was still frozed, so did not get to see it when it was most awesome, want to know what are the hiking trails that I have to do if I visit again july 8th this year.
I have been to almost every trails in banff area, besides the one around lake louise what are others I have to do?
I'm due to stay at the Chateau Lake Louise for 3 nights from Dec 27th-29th of this year.
Out of interest - what are the prices at the restaurants/snack bars etc like? I don't have a clue what to expect & I'm trying to work out how much money I'm likely to need.
are these two lake very different? do I need to go to both?
I was looking at the rates for the ski school, & it seems really reasonable:
Infact, it's cheaper for me to have a full days lesson ($79) than it would be to get a lift pass & hire the equiptment!
I was just wondering whether anyone has done this programme & whether it was good?
Hello one and all. We will be travelling to Banff Lake Louise and Jasper in the next 15 days and we were wondering if anyone knows what the gas prices are like??? We tried the website as instructed but unfortunetly it does not list the areas that we will be travelling to.If anyone could help that would be wonderful. Thank you for all the feedback in advance. :)
Can you recommend a good B&B in or near Lake Louise or Banff, Alberta, Canada? Thanks.
We are planning to visit Banff on Jun 23rd for a week. Could you please let me know if the Lakes around the area would be thawed by then. And also, what's the weather usually like around that time of the year.
Hello - I recently went to Lake Louise and it was incredible! I originally cashed in my airmiles for my lift ticket to save the60, but I forgot the pass at home and ended up spending the money anyway. Is there any place I can find people travelling to Lake Louise that I could sell my lift ticket to? Otherwise I'm stuck with this great lift ticket that I can't use, since I'm in Ontario. Thanks!
