Hi, I am planning on moving to South Sweden and commuting to work in Holland. I need parking at the airport from Monday to Thursday/Friday. Of course, I do not want to pay normal high airport parking fees. Anyone has a creative idea? Are there parking garages close by that can be rented, discounts for frequent parking, companies that rent out some of there parking...any idea please let me know.
I would like to know the approximate fares between the following points.
1. Airport to the center of town at about 22:00
2. Center of town to cruise port.
3. Cruise port to airport.
I'm a Japanese.
So maybe my English is sometimes weird, I'm sorry.
I'm planning to go to Vaxjo in Sweden this summer.
But there is no direct airplane from Japan to Vaxjo.
So I bought a ticket from Japan to Copenhagen.
Now I'm looking for transportation from Copenhagen to Vaxjo.
I found only SJ(Train).
But SJ is a little expensive for me.
I don't care it's train or bus.
But I hope it's cheap.
Do you have any ideas?
My husband and I are coming to Copenhagen in early June.
1. If we take the train from the airport to the Central Station, is this the station that is close to the Marriott?
2. Is the Marriott as close to the train station as it appears on the map (looks like maybe 3 or 4 city blocks?), and is it walkable - good sidewalks, not to risk life and limb, or should we take a taxi?
3. Are there ATM's in the arriving gates at the airport to get Danish currency and if so, what terminal/hall or by what gate is it near?
What kind of is the cheaper transport from Copenhagen to Stockholm?
It is the train or the bus? May be is any low-fare ticket by airplane?
I will travel 26SEP06.

tere from estonia!:) a rather naive question, but still: any suggestions for a newby-cook like me, i will need to buy food for a few days while staying in amager. i apologise since i do not have the map of the town yet, so i am not certain about the locations of supermarkets, and also not about their content - i would be happy to know if there are supermarkets to avoid, and supermarkets to prefer. thank you very much for your tips!

I’m Veronica and I’m an architect. Please help me! : )
I will be in Malmö at the end of July for a swedish wedding and I’m going to spend seven days in Copenhagen to see the city and its new architectures.
Is there anyone here who can recommend me some architecture guide or books???
I have two architecture guide from the Danish architectural press but I think they are quite old and I’m curios to see new architectures! I would have an idea of Danish architecture’s level ‘cause I don’t know it.
I’m looking for last five - ten years architecture guide/books because I have yet many informations about “famous building” (Arne Jacobsen’s for example), medieval centre and museum.
Looking forward to your replies!
Thanks a lot!!! Veronica

Hi Guys I am in Copenhagen from late Sunday 25th July to lunchtime the following Friday 30th July and I wondered if the regular VTers might fancy meeting up for a beer and a chat or maybe even something to eat. It would be great to actually meet some of the people whose helpful messages I have been reading for so long I am quite flexible - Don't mind which day, whether its lunchtime or evening (or even both) and I am not that fussy about what area either. I am staying in Nyhavn which I know is handy for most of you but am just as happy to travel further afield. Kind Regards Mike
hi- i just arrived in copenhagen to study for the summer, but i have been placed in a kollegium far away from the city center. i am a 26 year old architecture student from oregon. i will only be here through mid august and am seeking a sublet or roomate situation (nearer to the city) for my short time here. i am independent, responsible and interested in learning more about Danish culture.
hi i'm going 2 study at the summeruniversity in copenhagen during july+aug. i was told its very difficult 2 find a place 2 stay. therefore i need ur advice on: - WEBPAGES 2 search 4 people who are willing 2 rent out their place for 2 months...(forums, students pages, private ads or notice boards of universities...) - DANISH TERMS that would be useful 2 google (like: short-term rental/temporary, room, interim tenant, summer...) since i live in malmoe right now i can go to c-hagen every now and then to check some: - MAGAZINES/PAPERS (studentmags, papers with private ads or special sunday-issues) - PUBLIC PLACES where people would place notes (universities, supermarkets...) any help would be great! julia
