I wonder what's the name of this eatery in Kyoto. It is located just above Highball Bar at Shijo Dori street
It says "Sukiya", a chain restaurant. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukiya...
thanks so much, one more I cant remember the name or the address is the following, according to my notes we just walked just a few meters north of the main train station but cant find any info about this and dont have the address, any help will be highly appreciated as I am ready to start writing my Kyoto page
This is another chain, called Gyoza no Ohsho, serving dumplings.
thanks [VT member 93f85] guys!
now than I completed my Kyoto page I want to write about this small one inside Shin-Osaka station
It says "Uzen soba", a noodles shop.
I just looked at the larger photo on your page. I don't think there is a name, the two words actually read "udon" and "soba", the two types of Japanese noodles that they serve in the restaurant. The two characters beside it simply read "Noodles Shop". I don't see a name, unless Noodles Shop is the name.
I wrote my review under your suggestion as Udon Soba Noodles Shop in Shin-Osaka station :)

You just need to change the name from "Uzun Soba" in your tip. :) I misread it the first time. uzen is actually udon.
oups, ok! :)
what about this statue and two monuments at Miyajima's promenade:
The first one is Taira no Kiyomori.
The second one states that this is one of the Japan's three most scenic places.
The last photo is a UNESCO Heritage site sign for Itsukushima Shrine.
indeed, it is a scenic island! thanks so much!
No prob. Would love to go there some day!
