pls,how do i get to maryland from ithaca through the shortest possible means by road? i intend going by bus but i don't know my way around. thank you.
I assume you mean Ithaca, New York? You did not specify where in Maryland you want to go, but you can find bus schedules on the Greyhound Bus website, [original link]
I entered Ithaca, NY as the departing city and Baltimore, Maryland as the arrival city. The route offered by Greyhound takes 9 hours, and connects through Philadelphia.
I looked at routes from Ithaca to Baltimore connecting through NY city, but the travel time is about 10 hours, and will require changing bus stations which could be confusing if not familiar.
WIthout knowing what city or town you need to get to in Maryland (it is a big state), we cannot answer this question.
I'm so sorry about that. I want to get to temple hills in Maryland. I need to know where to get a bus and how much it would cost.
Temple Hills, MD is a suburb of Washington, DC, and that's where you should be traveling to on Greyhound. From there you will be able to take public transportation (most likely the green line of the DC metro) to get to Temple Hills.
If you look at Google Maps you can get directions from Ithaca to Temple Hills (or Washington); it's basically a straight shot due south, although the bus is unlikely to go directly. I don't know why you say you don't want to look at Greyhound's website, but that's where you need to look to find a bus that will get you to your destination. If you can navigate VirtualTourist, you can figure out Greyhound's site.
I didn't mean that I don't wanna look at greyhound. I already did. Just didn't find a route.
Greyhound's web site gives four options for traveling from Ithaca to Washington DC. The option it gives you that departs at 10 am is probably the best, but you wind up having to change buses in New York City.
Temple Hills is pretty spread out. There are an assortment of local bus routes you might have to take to get from Washington DC Greyhound and the closest DC Metro station to the exact location you need. However, Google maps has a transit option (select the bus icon when asking it to find directions) and it will give you the routes it finds.
