Four of us planning a trip to the isle of man on motorbikes early June 07. One Fazer 600 and 3 classic Honda 250 Superdreams. All of us born agains but genuine bike enthusiasts. Would just like to ride the TT circuit stages and see the island.
All of us in our mid to late thirties so fond of our comforts.
Can anybody advise best place to stay, any good pubs, must see places or things of interest, good bike shops etc.
Is it true that there is no speed limit outside the towns? this is of particular interest to the 3 blokes on the 80's Superdreams (aptly named)
This may or may not help you.
I think you may struggle to find any hotels now, most of them would have been booked up last year.
You might have to be less picky and take whatever you can get.
The no speed limit (I think) only applies to the race circuit itself and does not apply to the ordinary roads in the IOM.
Remember, this is the most dangerous race circuit in the world, every year, riders are killed here.
Take care and enjoy
