Does anybody know of what deals exist to buy a Data SIM card in Lanzarote?
I am hoping to buy a 2 GB data SIM card for my unlocked MiFi device, and when it runs out, to buy a new one.
Just in case coverage of the different networks vary by location, I will be mainly using this in Costa Teguise.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Myself and friend are booked to stay at the Coronas Playa in Costa Teguise in July. Does anyone have any recent experience of this hotel? In particular the average age of the guests? I ask because we booked this hotel on the Thomson website, it looks lovely, all inclusive, near the beach etc but recent reviews have got us a little worried. Quite a few people commenting that the hotel seems to be very popular with a much older crowd (age 70+ Making up a large %of the guests) we know it is adult only but expected there to be a wide range of ages! We are in our early 30s and are worried we will feel very out of place in this hotel now. Anyone been during a summer season and can let us know? Thanks!
Are there any restaurants/bars worth recommending in this resort?
Hi everyone, We are arriving in Lanzarote on 5th November and are hoping to experience Camel ride to Fire Mountain, is it possible to achieve independently or would we be wise to go on Cruise Ship excursion? Tia
Thinking of visiting Lanzarote one year, around this time. So took a look at weather forecasts. Surprised to see sunny weather last week, wet (maybe even thundery) this week, then sunny again the week after. What's the reason? Steve
I booked a holiday to Costa Teguise leaving on 8th November. Is it hot enough to get a sun tan? Also does the tourist season slow down at this time of year as I'd like to know if all the facilities are operational, i.e water parks, markets, etc.
One more question - What's the bus number from Costa Teguise to Arrecife? I am planning to go to market there.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
We are on a cruise ship visiting Lanzarote on a Sunday - 20 September and are planning hiring a car to sightsee.
Our plans are to drive to Mirador del Rio and then through Orzola to Jameos del Aqua and Ceuva de los Verdes and then back to the port via Arrieta.
We welcome comments and feed back on our plans - is there anywhere else we should try and stop enroute and is this doable in the time we have? Looking on a map the distance does not seem too far - are the roads good?
We will be in port from 12 noon and want to be back on board by 6 pm.
My girlfriend and I will visit this amazing island in April and we also want to learn kitesurfing or windsurfing but don't know what is easiest because we will stay for 2 weeks and we want to explore also other thinks on the island. I have been to Puerto many times and its my Favourate eurpean destination . The place has got a lot quieter over the years, which is a shame. I am going back in October(3Rd time this year). I usually go in March/ April time but this is the first time in october, is it usually busy this time of year .I notices that The show bar Flanigans was closed last time i went and the Bloke(Who addresses himself as the 3rd Marquis of Barnsley) was doing his act in titos some nights. Is he still there or hopefully he's back in flanigans showbar with Rita . A bar we used to go was caesars disco(Near Titos but again this was shut in April) will this place be open in October. There's the showbar other end of the strip near the owl and the pussy cat bar can not remember its name . We always go in ruta 66 and Murphys bar best two bars here.
