Indonesia

Phuket to Jakarta

Is there any ferry service from Phuket or any other part of Thailand to Jakarta or Bali or any other part of Indonesia? If yes, is it reliable?

I've never done with ferry and I don't know if there is. The flying time to Bali is more than 4 hour, so if a ferry exist, i'm sure you will be on the way for a long time

There is no ferry from Phuket to Indonesia, perhaps a cruise ship if you can afford it !

No, it was just a wild suggestion

Wow, that's a long way on a ferry.
There were ferries from Penang, Malaysia to Medan in Sumatra. If they still exist you could ferry from Phuket to Penang, then to Medan. Long distance buses run from Medan to Jakarta - but a really uncomfortable trip and there are so many cheap flights these days ......

The hydrofoil no longer goes from Penang to Medan
