Hyderabad

Chincholi forest and Chandrampalli Dam

Hello Everyone. I have just joined the site and excited to be here. I stay in Hyderabad and planing to visit a forest called Chincholi and a Dam called Chandrampalli which are very near to Hyderabad. There are many people who have visited the place for trekking and I have not been able to get any more information about the place apart from the trekking point of view.

My questions to the people who have visited the place are -

1. Is there an accommodation available at that place. I don't want to stay in lodges in Gulbarga, the biggest town nearby.
2. If yes, then is it good enough for a family and kids?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

Regards,

Hi globet. My advice to you is to look at the people who have been to Hyderabad and see if these places are listed anywhere. My guess is they would be listed as Off the Beaten path.
I would the ask those people directly or better yet, go to the travel forum and ask this same question under Hyderabad. This is NOT the correct forum for this kind of question.

Hi [VT member ed36],

Thanks [VT member ed36] your quick reply. I am staying in Hyderabad and have found limited or no people who have any idea about this place. Also, I am new to this site and not sure how to post in the proper listing. I will do some research tomorrow and will post it again. However, thanks [VT member ed36] your answer.

I am anyways planing a day trip soon to this place alone. Hope I have a new weekend destination for the public of Hyderabad :)

Regards,

G

Hi [VT member 1944f7] -
Looks like your question is in the right forum so I'm guessing the staff moved that for you. Hope you get your answer!

Hi back - seeing this response from a previous poster...

"I would the ask those people directly or better yet, go to the travel forum and ask this same question under Hyderabad. This is NOT the correct forum for this kind of question."

…seemed to indicate that your question was originally in a different forum. Seeing that it's in the Hyderabad forum - exactly where it should be - implied that it had been moved from that previous forum. Sometimes the VT staff will do that for new members who are having trouble navigating the site! :O)

Or was your question in this forum all along and so the member who made that comment was mistaken?
