Advice to determine hotel

I am seeking advice from knowledgeable people to book my hotel. Initially I've booked courtyard in
1 On Ping Street, Sha Tin New Territories due to the reviews on cleanliness & quietness. After a couple of days when I want to plan my travelling via mtr, I realized my mistake. I already visualize that my daily train ride will take a toll. I only have 3 full days. Want to do a typical first time tourist thingy. To eat!to explore night shopping+eat, to see arts & eat. If able to go to the night exploring within walking distance from the hotel, it will be such a joy!
Ive concluded the following hotels cos the distance to the train station is nearby but cannot decide which one to choose. I really appreciate if you can help me to decide (obviously I cannot decide)& I can book the hotel soon. Thank you for your time & help.
1) Ibis Hong Kong Central and Sheung Wan,
No 28 Des Voeux Road West
Sheung Wan
2)Novotel Hong Kong Nathan Road Kowloon, 348 Nathan Road
Kowloon
3)ibis Hong Kong North Point,
138 Java Road NORTH POINT
4)Ovolo Hotels

Ibis Hong Kong North Point,138 Java Road NORTH POINT is the closest hotel to metro station probably just one min walk.............Novotel is also very close to metro station, less than 5 min walk

Your choice is between Ibis and Novotel, the other hotel in your list is not really that far from station, but Novotel and Ibis is more convenient location

The first three are within walking distance to MTR stations. The second one has the airport bus stop in front of the hotel. All of them are close to shops and restaurants, and if you venture into the side streets, you can find more local shops. North Point is probably the most local as you can walk to the wet market on Chun Yeung St. Ovolo Noho and Central are the closest to artsy places and small restaurants, but it's a bit of a walk to the MTR. Lots of foreigners like this area. Ovolo Central is the closest to nightlife, as you can walk to Lan Kwai Fong. All of the areas have their uniqueness. If you're on Hong Kong Island, taking the tram is an experience by itself.

Thank you Shavy
I've booked Ovolook hotel in West kowloon. I wasn't able to make the booking online so Ive called them directly.Because we are family of 3 adults.ibis & Novotel hotel total chargers is $350-$400 SGD per night. After reconsideration,we decided to choose Ovolo as it's a proper double queen size bed with sea view not a roll on bed like most hotels offer.
Thank you very much for taking time to help and I am sorry that I didn't choose the hotel you've suggested.

Ya, i know Ibis and Novotel are quite expensive. Anyway, those hotels in your list are all close to metro stations. You made a good choice of Ovolo hotel is cheaper and nice location. Our first time to HK we stay at this hotel is just a short walk to a station guarantee you will not regret by choosing the place and certainly worth the price. ....So much to see in HK plan accordingly your itinerary.

By the way, 8pm sharp do not miss the lightshow at Victoria Harbour. One of the highlight in HK in the evening. It'll be a bit crowded, but if you get there earlier you maybe have a good spot infront

Enjoy your trip in HK
