Is there hotel or Pension Houses in Hinunangan. Can somebody describe a little bit about Hinunangan like, the road, places to see, beaches is it white sand?
Hinunangan is in Southern Leyte. I'm not familiar with the town itself, but I know there are pension houses in Maasin (capital of SL) and resorts in Sogod which are both far from Hinunangan.
yes, there are now pension houses in hinunangan,particularly in the town center, the owner is evan delgado and also one in barangay tahusan, also one in san pablo island,just around 15-20 minutes by local boat, from the mainland. theres a lot of beautiful beaches, with floating cottages in barangay calag-itan,5 km. from the town proper,and you can reach there by jeepney or by motor cab.the town is nice and the people are friendly.it's around 4-5 hrs. from maasin city.you can take by bus or by van from maasin to hinunangan.theres a lot of white and brown beaches in hinunangan.
Hinunangan is now becoming a destination for local & Foreign tourists. Hinunangan is located in the pacific area of So. Leyte, it is compose of around 42 brgys.Travelling is no longer that difficult because of its new concrete road which is almost finish up to Silago. Hotels, Lodging houses and a fine dining restaurant is available. Tahusan beach is a 1.5 kms away from the town proper which is famous for its sandy gentle sloping beach. Doña Marta Boutique Hotel is the first boutique hotel in Tahusan beach( donyamartahotel.bravehost.co... ). A stone throw away from the hotel is the well known "Rosita's Native Restaurant", the first and only fine dining restaurant in Hinunangan.Boat tour and island hopping to the two islands is available.
