I would like to know what the name of the tune that the clock playes and any other available information about it.
Excellent link, PJ.
However, I think Henk doesn't mean the tunes of the carillon of St. Jan's Church. He says 'City Hall', that's the carillon on the side of the town hall that plays when the clock does it's little tricks :-)
Henk, I simply googled for 'stadhuis Gouda carillon' and got an mp3 and a film at
If you can't save and open it, then rightclick the link and choose Save Target As (Doel opslaan als)
I'm sorry, I don't know the name of the tune though!
PJ, if you listen to it, maybe you know?
Otherwise Henk, make contact via www.gouda.nl (email them) and ask!
Oh boy, carillon bells when I'm just awake after a drinking night! Ahhhh.
A faint resemblance, but I'll call in more help.
Drinking night on a weekday? Foei PJ ! :-)
Gaan die klokken niet iedere dag ? Dan kan je ook iedere dag drinken :-)
Right ... I meant City Hall
Hi Henk. Nice photo!
Well then, I thought right. Check my advice above.
