Glacier National Park

Whitefish to Glacier

My husband and I are staying at the Pine Lodge in Whitefish this summer. We wanted to stay in the park but there was nothing available the week we wanted to go. We want to spend all our time in the park and there are several places we're hoping to see: Logan pass, Two Medicine Valley, etc. Are these places easily accessible from Whitefish? Can we drive there, hike, and get back to the lodge each night? Thanks for your help!

You should be just fine!! I cannot give you 'exact' distances, but know that I have stayed there before and it was an easy area to be in. Whitefish is quite nice itself! I just hope they don't have a bad fire season this year or it will make your trip even more unforgetable! I am jealous---you are going to a beautiful part of the country!

I hope we don't have a bad fire season either. Whitefish is a fun town, you will like it in addition to the park. I am jealous of the previous poster living in Italy!
