If you stay in Gengenbach you'll get automatically a KONUS guest card.

To get to Strasbourg you need additionally only an EUROPASS MINI 24H ticket.

option 1 EUR 6,40: 1 adult and 0-2 children (age 4 to 12) option 2 EUR 10,60: 2 adults and 0-2 children (age 4 to 12)

Can be bought from the ticket machines in Gengenbach. Option 2 is called there EUROPASS MINI 24H Family to my knowledge.

These 24 hours tickets cover the regional trains from Kehl to Strasbourg (KONUS card covers the trains till Kehl, you can just stay seated). But furthermore also the trams and buses in Strasbourg.

Yes, Europass 24h Family, that is what we used to get to Gengenbach from Strasbourg and back. Only 12.7 for 2+2 and you can travel free in all the region.
