planning a trip to sikkim from 18th sept to 27 the sept want to know places "must visit" and scenic hotels to stay and general "do s" in sikkim
Definitely make the trip to Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake) - at an altitude of over 12,000 feet, the trip takes about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. The road is continuosuly winding and the views are nice. Climb the hills overlooking the lake for a really nice view. If possible go to Nathula pass, the border between India and China.
Yumthang Valley, the further north you can go the more stunning Sikkim gets.
Scenery is amazing.
checkout my photos on my Sikkim pages an you will see what i Mean.

Yumthang is defiantly worth a visit but must mention I went in February time.
